Social Responsibility

The LAW Holdings Group has and continues to be a regular and proud supporter of Pathways - a community based organization which focuses on children with severe disabilities.
The school was founded in 1995 with the promise that "No child would ever be turned away because he or she was too anything - too old, too young, too disruptive, too physically or mentally disabled, too poor, or too disadvantaged." The school has grown from a group of 3 children to a multi-cultural facility for 37 children in a lovely old house in Westville and two adjacent properties. Pathways have also birthed 8 other independent centres throughout the country.
The old adage "give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.." applies. Our regular monthly monetary contributions are put to good use, equipping trainee teachers, care-givers and facilitators with the necessary skills to implement professional home care through a training course of high quality. This initiative is set to widen the scope of the programmes which make such a difference to the disabled child and his/her family.
For more information on this organization please visit www.pathways-kloof.co.za.
